You can edit this in any image editing software that allows the use of layers and masking. We recommend Photoshop.

As the digital backgrounds are digital files, once you download you own them and they are "unreturnable".

If you accidently purchased the same Digital Background twice, we can replace for another product.

However, if within 14 days of your purchase you are unhappy with your downloaded file, please contact us so we can assist you.

Overlays are image files you can add "over" your image in Photoshop using various blend mode options on your layers panel to blend and adapt the overlay to your image. 

The recommend blend mode for our overlay layers is:

FINE ART TEXTURES: Overlay or Soft Light

LIGHT/GLOW/SPARKLE OVERLAYS: Screen

OVERLAYS ON WHITE: Multiply

TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND OVERLAYS: Normal

Absolutely! Though our overlays have been designed to the highest professional standards and are indeed used by the pros, beginners find these are super user-friendly. 

So you can dive in and get started right away, wherever you are in your photography journey.
